Stopped in for lunch from the recommendation from my customer. I was traveling from Madison, MS to Hammond, LA. It was a quick lunch so buffet was a perfect option! I will say that the vast variety of food available was overwhelming! I think I was only able to try a fraction of what was available. Great for a quick stop while on the road!
This place has the best fried pickles ever but they had no fried chicken I was disappointed but the service was amazing they check in on me every single time I was out of sweet tea 5- stars

The setting is clean and neat. The staff is extremely welcoming and polite. They were quick to refill drinks and assist with anything. The atmosphere is a diverse cross section of the community. The patrons were all happy, having great conversations and they had good music playing. I would highly recommend eating here. Especially because the food is fresh and the desert selection is awesome!!! We'll return if passing through Brookhaven in the future.
My first time here and it was Great! Huge selection to choose from whether main course, sides, desserts or salad bar. Service was outstanding...kept the drinks filled and keep asking if needed anything. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
Went there 4-10-23, OMG I was so surprised, I read the reviews both good and bad so I didn't know what to expect. The place was clean including the bathroom, the buffet was constantly tended to, the people were very nice and asked if we needed anything more than once. I am hoping this wasn't a fluke and hope the next time I go back it's just as good, oh and the food was good and hot, especially the fried chicken, we can't wait to go back
I was visiting Brookhaven for a week and was told by locals this was the place that one must try when here. I am glad I took their advice. The food was great, some of the best fried catfish! The service was prompt and friendly. I made a few trips to Poppa's firming my visit. If you want great variety of good food, you need to try Poppa's Buffet.
